Flexible Travel

Feathers endlessly fascinate. The drop like snow flakes.

The exciting outcome of the spring exhibit: you can soon purchase prints. Let me know what sizes work for you. I'll publish the spring catalog soon.

Now, flex travel: ro my horror the viewing windows for the community room are almost all taken. I don't know until the 19th if there will be more access.

Emily Dickinson on Feathers

Poets Org

Emily Dickinson wrote:

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.

I’ve heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.

Thank you Poets Org for the kindness of posting these verses.

Plume's Progress

To All the People Who Follow

Thank you for your support and encouragement. Without your help I could never have become a developing artist. Now there are people who have the confidence to lend me their gallery and show my abstractions.

To the folks at the San Diego Public Library, my profound thanks for your admiring words about my feathers. I know that nature is our only way out of the challenges we face at the planetary level. As a bird breeder and fancier, I collected molted feathers for many years before attempting to make art. I look forward to years of having fun playing with plumes.

Feathers! Save a feather, save a flock.
